Safest destination for a first solo female trip in Europe?
Late twenties, never travelled alone, want somewhere walkable and friendly to ease in. Leaning Portugal but open to ideas.

Portugal is a perfect first pick — Lisbon and Porto are walkable, friendly, and English is widely spoken. Slovenia (Ljubljana) is another underrated, very safe option.
